Create your account

Signing up takes a minute and no card. What takes slightly longer is the setup wizard afterwards, which asks five questions and uses the answers to give you a starting point rather than an empty account.

How signing in works

There are three ways in, and none of them involves choosing a password:

Continue with Google or Continue with Apple — the fastest option, and the one to use if your team already lives in a Google or Apple account.
Email me a link — enter your address and we send a sign-in link. It expires after five minutes and works once.

There is no password to forget

Queue Join has no passwords, so there is no password reset either. If you cannot get in, request a fresh sign-in link — an old one will have expired or already been used. Losing access to the email address is the only thing that genuinely locks you out, so if that address is a personal one, move it to something the business controls before you rely on it.

The setup wizard

The first time you sign in you are sent to a two-step wizard. You cannot skip it — the answers create your organisation.

Your business name
What your customers call you. It appears in every message you send and at the top of every page they see, so use the trading name rather than the registered company name.
Your public link
A short name used in every public URL — queuejoin.com/q/your-name and so on. It is filled in from your business name as you type, and checked for availability while you type. If somebody already has it, or it clashes with a page we use ourselves, you are offered an alternative.
Choose carefully: it is the part of a printed QR code you would have to reprint to change. You can edit it later under business information, but anything already printed keeps pointing at the old one.
Your industry, size and country
The industry decides which starting services and resources we create for you — a salon gets a consultation and a styling appointment, a pharmacy gets a prescription pickup. All of them are ordinary rows you can rename or delete. The country sets your currency and the default for your first location's time zone. Neither is locked in.
What you want to use it for
Waitlists, appointments, or both. This is remembered as a preference rather than a restriction — nothing is switched off because you did not tick it.

When you finish, your organisation is created, you become its Owner, and a welcome email goes to the address you signed in with.

A Free plan subscription. Nothing charges until you choose to upgrade.

What does not exist yet is a location — and without one there is nothing for a customer to join. Add your first location next.
